Visiting Thorne Swift Nature Preserve
The preserve is open daily from April 15 to November 14, from 10:00 AM until sunset. There is a $5 parking fee for non-residents of West Traverse Township, but Little Traverse Conservancy members can visit free of charge.

- Directions: From downtown Harbor Springs, take M-119 northwest for approximately 3.8 miles until you reach Lower Shore Drive. Follow Lower Shore Drive for about half a mile, and you’ll find the entrance on the left.
